Tier iv as many good tanks we have at american tier 4, but we dont have any “best tier 4 american tank” im gonna show you one of best tier 4 tank, american t34. The 6.7 germans, when they are top dog, are borderline op. Their main purpose is to support the team indirectly throughout the fire, normally from a big distance.

Just dont when you get tanks with apcr, its not worth it. For germany the best tier 3 tanks are the tiger i h1, panther d, and iv/70. The gun is weak compared the germany and russia.

I am still somewhat new at this game with a little over 300 hours in it and i just recently hit tier v tanks. Their hard counters would be the italian no armor 625mm penning tanks and the rich swedes (namely cv90120, strv 122 and maybe the strf 9056c with spike atgm) idk about anything else. It’s a very compact tank with okay speed, a gun.

Usa i only reached tier 2 so can't help really although tier 3 sounds weak, and with tier 4, unless it has a 90mm gun it seems pretty poor too. With any tier 3+ german use pzgr.39 or equivalent i wouldnt bother with he, you have an mg dont touch heat. It's a stupidly flexible and robust lineup. Here are some of the best tanks in war thunder.

1) don't go up in br until i have 3 tanks that are competitive in the next bracket. Beware though, germany doesn't really have a 6.7 medium to capture and hold points. They seem like the worst tanks.

After that, american and germany are on par for how good the tanks are. Shermans in tier ii are some of the best tanks available. 4 kt variants, 2 nearly indestructible td's 2 fast nimble 88mm td's and a 5 panther/p2 variants.

The russian tanks in this tier are mostly excellent because of their great armour/angle and decent guns with really fast reloads. Americans are meh at best except for a few tanks, britain has solid shot and meh armor, and russian is great at low tiers then starts getting bad at 6.0 and then great again at 7.7/8.0.
